This evening on "The Blackman Read Aloud Hour" we continue to immerse ourselves in black majestic greatness, cover to cover, today The Collected Poems of Langston Hughes, edited by Arnold Rampersad and David Roessel. We now transition from Alain Locke, the father of the Harlem Renaissance, and the creator of The New Negro, to one who considered the most powerful voice of both the Harlem Renaissance as well as The New Negro, Langston Hughes.
