I Am So Baltimore
I'm so Baltimore
I remember tanks rolling down Milton Avenue while Levingston and Klein was being ransacked along with Food Fair and Robert Hall. The town center was Butts Barbershop; pocketbook snatching was worst crime in the hood; Afro Clean Block Campaign worked so well there were no vacants in the hoods; parents did parenting of their kids and any other kid seen doing wrong; professional ball players were real people who lived nearby; going to city schools was enjoyable; and being scared that the Veney Brothers were going to take everyone down who came their way and all those little paper slips my Dad kept in his lockbox.
