This lady who married a KING

This glamorous lady of pure style and grace

Whose talents could’ve taken her almost any place

She could have had huge fame and fortune

Yet she abstained it all 

This incredible lady who married a KING

She borne his children and kept his home

And sadly was forced to rise them alone

This lady of pure style and grace

This Lady who married a KING

She understood that life’s golden goose

Was not in his life cards of choice

This lady who married a KING

For he chose the path of most resistance

Fought battles most other deemed surely not winnable

For his fight was for those whose fates seemed sealed

Those whose rights were taken injustices revealed

This lady of style and grace 

This lady who married a KING

She lived a life full of deadly strife

This lady who married a KING

The reward of such that doorbells ring

Signaling death of injustice’s sting

This lady of style and grace 

This lady who married a KING

An in the end she burnt a flame that lit his legacy 

And relieved a nation’s most horrid pain

This wondrous lady of style and grace

This beautiful lady who many men could chase

This lady who indeed with grace decided 

Her mission was indeed to stay married to a KING.
