VETERAN'S DAY

TOMORROW'S VETERAN'S DAY MY LATE DADDY WAS AN AIR FORCE VETERAN OF WORLD WAR TWO and ONE OF MY LATE BROTHERS WAS AN ARMY VETERAN OF THE VIETNAM WAR. BOTH OF THEM SERVED WITH HONOR. HOWEVER, BOTH TOLD ME OF THEIR UTTER DISTASTE OF THE TREATMENT THAT THEY ENDURED WHILE SERVING THIS NATION'S ARMED SERVICES.

SO I WILL HONOR THOSE WHO SERVED THIS NATION AND HOPE THAT ONE DAY THIS NATION WILL INDEED LIVE OUT THE TRUE MEANING OF IT'S CREED THAT ALL MEN AND WOMEN ARE EQUAL UNDER THE GRACE OF GOD AND THE CONSTITUTION. THAT EACH HAS THE RIGHT TO FREEDOM AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. SO, THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE FOUGHT TO MAINTAIN THE HOPE THAT THIS DREAM WILL INDEED MANIFEST ITSELF SOMEDAY SOON.
