Friday Night Musings From An Earlier Post

Final Thought For A Saturday Evening
Great Game By Two Great Black College Football Teams and Coaches
I don't understand why our best young black elite athletes wouldn't want to be coached by men of the same hue as them? I just watched the 2016 Bayou Classic, 60,000 plus in the stands, national television, outstanding offensive and defensive schemes on both sides of the ball especially on the black and gold side. The Grambling Head Football Coach Broderick Fobbs was a delight to see operate on the sidelines. He and Coach Dawson Odums from Southern University displayed some outstanding football coaching chops. Either of these coaches could run a Major College FBS Program without any problem. I am however thankful that both of these men are coaching, training, and teaching young black players at HBCU's. The game itself was far more entertaining than any other game I saw today. Thanks to the Grambling Tigers and Southern Jaguars for this marvelous display of athletic prowess. Also, the majesty of the game, as well as the energy of the crowd in the Superdome, was amazing.
