In Their Words, My Voice Black Word Mastery Need Not Be A Hidden Black Mystery

SATURDAY musings from 4 men of profound brilliance as I continue to salute the master wordsmith on this 4th day of Black History Month, remembering that “our black history need not be a black mystery”, in their words, my voice. Power comes from the mightiest of thought and mind, those creative artists who saw intolerance, bigotry, and racial hatred and sought to bring peace to a festering wound that had infected the supposed country of justice and freedom. My intentions this month is to focus on the literary words of our majestic ancestors to rise above the most difficult of circumstances to bring consciousness to the pages of our unique and glorious history. So take this journey with me as I continue to build a foundation of absolute literacy in our communities.
