Salute To Wordsmith Richard Wright, The Black Man's Native Son

In today's salute, you will hear in his words, my voice a sampling of the style that made Richard Wright a magnificent voice to describe the struggle of the Blackman in this nation. You see our black history need not ever be a black mystery. Born in Roxie, Mississippi on 9/4/1908, Richard Wright spent his life working to find that place where true equality of purpose and life existed. The records show that he died of a heart attack in Paris, France, his final adopted home. I believe that Richard Wright died of the heartbreak. Not being able to secure his equality and justice in the birthplace of those who struggled before him.
