Special Sunday Salute Sermon, In His Words, My Voice
On August 27, 1967, seven months before he was to be struck down by a murderous bullet in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke at a church in Chicago, Illinois on this sermon "Why Jesus Called A Man A Fool". As I come to the end of my salute to the great word masters. I bring the eloquent words of Dr. King, In His Words, My Voice. The sermon comes from my collections of a few of Dr. King's sermons from the book, A Knock At Midnight. I hope you enjoy the sermon I felt the need this Sunday to invigorate my soul with the message from that great country preacher who stood strong against injustice and the mighty storms of hate with his message of love. Rest In Everlasting Pace, Dr. King, the struggle goes on the victory is in plain sight. Our black history need not ever be a black mystery.
