In His Words, My Voice Lorenzo Thomas

In His Words, My Voice, poet Lorenzo Thomas born in Panama, raised in NYC, was a voice of agitation during the Black Arts Movement that included Amiri Baraka and so many others. As I end my month long salute to the words of a just a few of our noted ancestors. I salute today the prose and verse of Lorenzo Thomas, who spoke for those struggling for equality and justice in this nation of ours. Always remembering that our black history so depictive as written in the words of master wordsmiths verse need not ever be a black mystery.
