One and Done? Come on Son!

Harry Giles averaged just 3.9 points and 3.8 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per game in his freshman season playing for Duke University. Yet, this afternoon he just declared for the 2017 NBA Draft. That's what's wrong with both college and professional basketball the lure of the big potential dollars. As well as the fact that every Tom, Dick and well Harry along with Natasha, Ebony, and Juanita are in these guys ears telling them what they feel they want to hear rather than what they need to hear. Harry Giles, I'm going to tell you plain and simply you aren't ready for primetime so. Coach K knows it, but guess what, he already had recruited over you so he'll tell you anything to get you out of Durham, North Carolina. You see because you told all the fellas you were one and done you had to follow through with last's year promise. You simply needed someone really solid to tell you to stay in school son. Now if you're not drafted in Round 1 the monies aren't guaranteed in Round 2. You will be on the merry-go-round of possibilities rather than certainties. Every five star doesn't have to be a one and done you may have some fun and learn a little, while you play a lot.
