Apr. 28, 2017
50 years ago today on a Spring Day at the Houston Army Induction Center, April 28, 1967, Muhammad Ali said by not stepping forward and raising his right hand:
"HELL NO I WON'T GO"
Ain't Vietnamese ever called me "nigger".
With his stance, Ali lost millions and millions of dollars, was ridiculed by the press, hated by the majority of the American public but he was admired by those with a conscience-ness to understand the magnitude of Ali's commitment to his religious principles. Over the longevity of his life, Ali became one of the most revered men on the face of the planet. On this day say a little prayer for Ali's commitment to a world without war, a world committed to brotherhood and peace.
