Booker T. Washington & John Hope

In their words, my words Dr's Booker T. Washington & John Hope
Our Black History Need Never Be A Black Mystery

122 years ago today in Atlanta, Georgia, one of the most powerful oratorical speeches ever given by any person was given by Booker T. Washington. The speech became known as the Atlanta Compromise, the orator became known as the central voice of Black America for two decades after that speech. It spoke of blacks seeking not social equality in America but casting buckets for economic equality. John Hope, five later took a difference stance indicating that both social, judicial and economic equality was the goal for Black Americans. Two of our finest educators, one known as the Wizard of Tuskegee, Booker T. Washington, and the other John Hope, President of Atlanta University, today on "A Black Man's Blog".
