"Week Ten" Black-Out "Join Us" Policing The Blackman and Standing With Colin
The "Black-Out National Football League Football" is in full effect and I believe the strategy is making a huge difference. This week we had the Black General Manager of the Houston Texans, Rick Smith not even consider hiring Colin Kaepernick. His quarterback DeShawn Watson had a season-ending injury during practice on Tuesday. Rather than jumping on the phone an calling Colin's agent Rick Smith called Matt McGloin. Really, yes really.
The collusion lawsuit filed by Colin Kaepernick's team against the owners of the National Football League Teams is looking better and better by the moment. In addition, sponsors are looking for ways to reduce financial commitments to the league. So, the time is close to the owners breaking down and starting to point fingers at guilty parties. The Domino's man is pointing his fingers directly at the league's Commissioner Roger Goodell. The band of few will soon be breaking off into bands of fewer soon.
So if you haven't joined the boycott maybe now is the time to reconsider your choices. I will continue to stand with Colin Kaepernick's right to protest injustices in our communities. As I read on The Blackman's Read Aloud Hour, Policing the Blackman, I can truly comprehend why every Blackman in this country needs to stand with Colin Kaepernick against these owners who don't give a damn about injustices that continue to be leveled against people in our communities.
