The Black Blogger Remembers May 31, 1955
53 years ago The Supreme Court Of The United States handed the Brown II decision which for all intent and purposes took the steam out of school desegregation decision of the historic Brown vs. The Board of Education decision of May 17, 1954. With three words "all deliberate speed" which every southern state took to mean never and states north of Mason-Dixon meant they could continue to ignore the initial historic ruling of 1954. Today, on my blog I will bring the words of Derrick Bell to analyze this ruling which was called the "great mistake".
